My wife and I are offering our studio apartment for someone wishing to board in Berwick, less than 1km to High Street and an easy walk to train station or Monash Uni Berwick. The studio is part of our house but is fully self-contained. It has a kitchenette with stove/oven, microwave, fridge, cupboards/pantry, pod coffee machine, table, chairs, large in-built desk, TV/DVD, bathroom (toilet, basin, shower), split-system air con for heating and cooling, king single bed, covered deck area, private courtyard garden (that we maintain), washing machine, clothesline and paved path from street so no walking through wet grass! It has its own external access so no sharing of facilities, negotating washing machine times etc. It is ideal for a working individual who needs a simple, yet comfortable space for living. Price of $250 per week covers gas, electricity and water bill so no bill splitting and only one bill for the tennant. We also have wifi internet available at no extra cost. For $300 per week we will also supply linen (bedding and towels) and clean the studio weekly (change linen, clean floors, bathroom etc). This price is for a single person, no overnight visitors allowed. For us to consider a couple the applicants would need to be married and in a transition stage of life (waiting for house to finish being built etc) and would be looking to pay $350 per week (negotiable) not including cleaning or linen.
